Marina Otero Verzier es doctora arquitecta y directora del Social Design Masters en Design Academy Eindhoven. En 2022 recibió el Premio Wheelwright de la Universidad de Harvard por su proyecto sobre el futuro del almacenamiento de datos. Entre 2015-2022 fue directora de Investigación de Het Nieuwe Instituut en Rotterdam, donde lideró iniciativas sobre trabajo, extracción y salud mental desde una perspectiva arquitectónica y post-antropocéntrica. Su trabajo como comisaria incluye el Pabellón de Holanda en la Bienal de Arquitectura de Venecia 2018, la Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016 y la 13 Bienal de Shanghai 2021. Anteriormente trabajó como directora de Studio-X GSAPP, una red global de centros de investigación adscritos a Columbia University en Nueva York. Ha co-editado libros como Work, Body, Leisure (2018),

Marina Otero Verzier is a PhD architect and director of the Social Design Masters at Design Academy Eindhoven. In 2022 she received the Wheelwright Award from Harvard University for her project on the future of data storage. From 2015-2022 she was Director of Research at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam, where she led initiatives on labour, extraction and mental health from an architectural and post-anthropocentric perspective. Her curatorial work includes the Dutch Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018, the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2016 and the 13th Shanghai Biennale 2021. Previously, Marina worked as director of Studio-X GSAPP, a global network of research centres attached to Columbia University in New York. Marina has co-edited books such as Work, Body, Leisure (2018), More-than-Human (2020) and Lithium: States of Exhaustion (2021).
